Aims & Objectives
The aims and objects of FSC shall include the following:
- To provide counselling and support services for families or persons that are subject to gender-based violence and gender-based sexual violence
- To coordinate collaborate with and or facilitate the network of services available to victims of gender-based violence and gender-based sexual violence
- To promote a peaceful and non-violent environment
within domestic homes and communities in Solomon
Islands - To provide or facilitate an avenue for research, training community education and awareness on domestic Violence gender based violence and the rights of vulnerable population within communities.
- To advocate legislative and policy reforms at all levels in the country in relation to gender-based violence and the rights of vulnerable groups and victims
Referral SafeNet Partners
- FSC provides counselling and legal advocacy services.
- Christian Care Centre provides shelter and faith-based counselling.
- Police provides protection and safety.
- Public Solicitor’s Office (PSO) provides legal advice and legal representation in court.
- Ministry of Health and Medical Services ( Social Welfare) provides medical services
