Aims & Objectives

The aims and objects of FSC shall include the following:

  • To provide counselling and support services for families or persons that are subject to gender-based violence and gender-based sexual violence
  • To coordinate collaborate with and or facilitate the network of services available to victims of gender-based violence and gender-based sexual violence
  • To promote a peaceful and non-violent environment
    within domestic homes and communities in Solomon
    Islands
  • To provide or facilitate an avenue for research, training community education and awareness on domestic Violence gender based violence and the rights of vulnerable population within communities.
  •  To advocate legislative and policy reforms at all levels in the country in relation to gender-based violence and the rights of vulnerable groups and victims

Referral SafeNet Partners

  • FSC provides counselling and legal advocacy services.
  • Christian Care Centre provides shelter and faith-based counselling.
  • Police provides protection and safety.
  • Public Solicitor’s Office (PSO) provides legal advice and legal representation in court.
  • Ministry of Health and Medical Services ( Social Welfare) provides medical services
